The announcement, released by Meliá Hotels Cuba, adds that in addition to this, to be categorized 5 Forks restaurants have to be of “high quality and keep in mind the modern restoration techniques. In this unique space, the level of cuisine and service, they will commit to excellence; each dish will proclaim the chef's art by demonstrating creativity and details, including wines, spirits and other services, which will complement the menu offers.”
Both establishments are close to the hotel lobby and are integrated into the innovative concept of Plaza Costa Habana, which for some months has been inviting and enchanting diners. The categorization process was carried out by experts who based their criteria on the standard NC 126: 2001, entitled ´Tourism industry regulating requirements for classification by categories of restaurants serving tourism¨.
The Japanese restaurant's menu includes dishes such as the Havana Roll (stuffed with sweet pumpkin, cucumber, tempura shrimp, cream cheese, golden sauce and eel sauce), the teriyakis and wok rice; while in the one dedicated to Italian proposals, salmon stands out with pesto sauce, risottos and antipasti.
