The 28th edition of PRODEXPO, Russia's main food fair, opened its doors on Monday with the participation of representatives of some 1,500 companies in the sector from 44 countries.
The meeting, which will meet until Friday 16 at the EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds in Moscow, is the most relevant event in the sector in that country and is included among the 10 most important in the world.
During five days, visitors will be able to know a wide sample of food products that include meats and their derivatives, dairy products, juices, frozen products, fish and shellfish, preserves, as well as different drinks, all of which range from basic food to specialized nutrition for athletes.
PRODEXPO carries out its activities in 6 pavilions and in a total of 18 rooms that occupy a space of 30,000 m2. Among the participants are, in addition to the host country and its republics, nations from Europe, Asia and Latin America, including Cuba.
