Proxcor Showcases Export Portfolio at FIHAV 2025

The Slovak-Cuban joint venture Proxcor presented its export portfolio this Wednesday within the "Made in Cuba" thematic area at the central pavilion of ExpoCuba, as part of the activities for the 41st Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2025.

Speaking at the event, Engineer Velislav Ivailov Bakardjiev, General Manager of the company, emphasized that Proxcor is the result of the collaborative efforts of a team of Cuban, Slovak, and Latin American professionals who have dedicated themselves to creating a solid, sustainable, and competitive brand featuring high-quality products manufactured on the island.

For his part, Alejandro Castellanos, the company's export area director, showcased sweet biscuits, multi-layer sorbets, and cereals, which are already available in the domestic market and are poised for export.

He also announced the commencement of hard and soft candy production for the coming year, which will complete the company's portfolio of mass consumer products.

In Cuba, Proxcor distributes its products through HORECA channels (hotels, restaurants, and cafeterias), as well as the state and private sectors, in coordination with key players in tourism and hospitality.

Beyond its domestic operations, Proxcor is already expanding its international market with a presence in Venezuela and plans to export soon to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Guyana, among other Caribbean destinations.

Established in 2019 through a partnership between the Slovak company Proxenta and Cuba, Proxcor operates a modern factory located in Caibarién, Villa Clara province, with an annual production capacity of 17,000 tons.
